What is Motence?
Motence is a transport operations platform for institutions that run buses — campuses, estates, and fleets. Riders board digitally; operators see collections in one place.
How do riders board?
Scan the inspector QR or enter the trip code. Travel credit covers the fare. Inspectors can also log cash when needed — every boarding stays on the record.
How long does onboarding take?
Most institutions go live in about 5–7 business days after onboarding — routes, fleet, and staff briefing included.
Can we see collections in real time?
Yes. The operations dashboard shows active sessions, passenger counts, and collection totals as boarding happens.
How does Motence pricing work?
Plans combine an annual licence, a one-time setup fee, and collection charges (platform % on digital boarding; manual-log fees only if you use them). See Pricing for tiers.
